We realised that we needed a system in place to help with the rapid growth of the company. We were doing a huge amount of manual work, outside of our finance system and, as we kept growing, this was becoming more and more time consuming. We needed a system that would automate our processes and grow with us. The business operates out of various European countries and we needed a system that was flexible enough to adapt to the complexes of working abroad. This is where TMS Contract Costing came in. Not only was the system adaptable to our needs, without any additional bespoke work, but it is also one of the most comprehensive construction solutions on the market.
I have no doubt we will implement more modules as they become a requirement. Combine this with the fact that it is hosted, so we have 24/7 access from anywhere, and that the system is constantly developed, we have a system that will grow with us.
Having been on an old legacy system for the past decade or so, we decided it was time to revisit the market and upgrade. The software we had been using was old and ‘clunky’.
One of our main requirements was that we wanted a hosted solution so that we didn’t have to worry about upgrading all of our infrastructure. We also needed the solution to be customisable to fit our needs. We found some of the software we looked at to be too rigid in what it could do.
